DECKY Murib is an important witness in the fatal shooting of a Freeport employees’ vehicle, which allegedly involves elements of the military. A farmer living in Harapan Village at Kwamki Lama in Papua Province, Decky is an Amungme tribesman who never attended school. But the fate of this 33-year-old was turned around 10 years ago when he was recruited by Kopassus, the Army’s Special Forces Command, as an informant in the Timika area.
