GOLKAR parliamentarian Agung Laksono could not hide his broad smile. Though his eyes were red with exhaustion, Agung did not tire of taking outstretched hands and shaking. At the MPR/DPR parliament building in Senayan last Friday evening, Agung confronted the reality—something he and his Golkar Party have long dreamed of. He now held the position of House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker for the 2004-2009 period.
