Friendship at the Foot of Borobudur
THEY read poetry, short stories and fragments of recollections in various languages in the shadow of Borobudur. This was the Utan Kayu International Literary Biennale, which was held at the end of August. It was a simple and friendly discussion forum of literary persons from the United States, Asia, Australia and Europe, that left a strong impression.

THE stupa at the peak seemed very vivid. From a distance of about 1 kilometer, the stupa seemed to shine by itself from the summit.
