Confusion surrounding the Indonesia-Malaysia border heated up this week after Vice Chairman of the Defense and Foreign Affairs Commission, T.B Hasanuddin, accused Malaysia of taking over parts of Indonesias border in West Kalimantan last Monday. He said there was a report stating that Malaysia had grabbed the areas of Dusun Camar Bulan and Tanjung Datu.

THE legislator believes that Malaysia had already grabbed up to 3.3 kilometers of Indonesias land. "I have received intelligence that there are Malaysian Police occupying the region claiming it is actually theirs. On the coastline, Indonesia could potentially lose 1,500 hectares," he said.
