The Sinar Mas Group has returned to the banking sector—but supposedly they don't want to make it big.

THE Sinar Mas Group has returned to compete in the banking sector. After losing Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII) four years ago, the conglomerate controlled by Eka Tjipta Widjaja's family signed an agreement to purchase 100 percent of Bank Shinta last April.
