Exporters who need working capital may now make use of large funds from the Indonesia Export Bank (BEI), which is offering a more flexible scheme.

Indonesian exporters are feeling relieved. BEI has just launched a new policy that may help exporters to overcome at least one of their persistent difficulties. Exporters may obtain export credit under simpler conditions and requirements as of November 2000. The available funds are enormous: US$1 trillion.
