DOZENS of buses stand forlorn in the yard of Perum Perusahaan Pengangkutan Djakarta (PPD), in Cawang, East Jakarta. Some of these public transports are full of dents and look the worse for wear. Only the “Tourist” buses look cared for. “No routes, so they stay here,” said Pande Putu Yasa, head of PPD Public Relations Division.
