The Project is Cancelled, PLN Agrees to Pay

PLN is willing to pay OPIC's claim on the US$240 million Dieng-Patuha geothermal power plant project. Apparently, there was ‘pressure’ on PLN, although the power company does not have the money.

It is not clear who has had the party. But definitely the state electricity company (PLN) is the one that must clean up the mess. And one of the things it must clear up is a claim on the Dieng and Patuha geothermal power plant project, which was never built. Because PLN cancelled the construction, the company was brought to the International Court of Arbitration.
