IT was awfully dirty and smelly, but in Yeyen Komalasari’s hands, the rags after being used for sifting iron ore, which had become trash, are “magically transformed” into various kinds of handicrafts appreciated by many people.
These rags are collected from the final garbage dump of PT Krakatau Steel at Cilegon, Banten. Cleaning them calls for at least 20 washings.
