APPARENTLY, the San Miguel Corporation doesn’t yet want to throw in the towel. Even though PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk already signed a sales purchase agreement with Northstar Pacific on Friday night two weeks ago, this food and beverage company from the Philippines is still in the hunt for a 35 percent share in Bumi Resources, a Bakrie subsidiary company.
