Waiting for an Interest Rate Infusion
Six times consecutively over the past six months, Indonesia’s central bank, Bank Indonesia (BI), reduced the reference interest rate, known as the BI Rate. But the banking industry does not respond to this policy by reducing interest rates. The property market will rise again in the second half of the year.
