EU Acknowledges Indonesia's Palm Oil Is Safe

THE European Union removes Indonesia's palm oil products from the category of dangerous chemicals listed in the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulation. "This is good news for Indonesia considering the high volume of palm oil exports to the European Union," said Minister for Trade Mari Elka Pangestu in Jakarta, on Tuesday of last week.
