RACHID Mohamed Rachid, Egypt’s Minister for Industry and Trade, chose to be open before the public. With the looming threat of food crisis sweeping his country, on Sunday two weeks ago, with the majority of the population enjoying their weekend holiday, Rachid explained that wheat reserves were for four months only. “Afterwards, we will face a wheat crisis caused by drought and wildfires sweeping across Russia,” he said.
