Mass Transportation Revival

The Jakarta City Government is to resume construction of the long-delayed monorail system to ease worsening congestion on the streets of the capital.

TRAFFIC congestion on Jalan Asia Afrika in South Jakarta is a common sight during morning and evening rush hours. Cars and motorcycles heading toward Pejompongan in West Jakarta are obstructed by concrete columns planted on one side of the road.
