THERE is an increasing number of truck producers from China in Indonesia. After Beiqi Foton Motor Co, now Sinotruk Shandong Jixin Auto Sales Co plans to enter the same segment.

The Chinese automotive company is inviting PT Intraco Penta Tbk to market heavy-duty trucks. “The target is for their trucks to enter the market in May or June,” said Intraco Penta Marketing Director Willy Rumondor, to Tempo last week.
