A RUSH of buyers descended on the sales office of gold producer Aneka Tambang (Antam) on Jalan Pulogadung in East Jakarta on Thursday a fortnight ago. Sales attendants were overwhelmed as more than 200 eager buyers, queuing in a long line since morning outside the sales counter, went for the precious metal. Ingots with 99.99 percent gold content and in weight of 5 to 50 grams were sold out in no time. Only ingots of lower gold content and in weig
