Jatropha curcas, which is locally known as jarak pagar, is a non-edible oil crop primarily known for its ability to be made into biodiesel fuel. In theory, the entire plant is useablethe oil can be processed for biofuels and the trunk can be manufactured for fertilizer. The seeds can produce oil that can be blended with diesel, to make the biofuel that can cut emissions and fight climate change.
