After the latest rounds of postponement, prices of subsidized fuel could rise this May. Increase in the prices of staple foods and commodities preceded the fuel price rise.

It was early morning last Wednesday, when Rukiyah found herself debating with Ipah, a vegetable seller at a small market in the Sugutamu village of Depok, West Java.
