The undesirable slowdown has finally hit industry in Medan, North Sumatra. After the months-long gas crisis forced businesses to scrape for funds to keep the wheels of production turning, finally, one by one, industry leaders have taken their last gasp. Even the few capable of holding on have been overwhelmed by uncertainty, with no idea when the gas will return to their pipelines and power their factories once again.
