Without much fanfare, Santosa Agrindo went all the way to Australia to acquire 555,000 hectares of farmlandeight times the size of Jakarta. The ranch company, better known as Santori, bought two of the three ranch stations owned by John and Terry Underwood in northern Australia. The stations, Riveren and Inverway, can accommodate 45,000 Brahman cattle.

A subsidiary of Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Santosa bought 100 percent of the shares in the two sta
