Garuda Indonesia (GIAA) tickets to Denpasar and Lombok during the Christmas and New Year holidays were sold out. Flights on Boeing 737-400s with a capacity of 150 seats were fully booked, the General Manager of Garuda Nusa Tenggara Barat,Sudarmadi, told Tempo last Friday.

The annual holiday was a joyous season for airlines. The number of Sriwijaya Air passengers, for example, increased by 10-12.5 percent according to the company's spokesperson, Ag
