The Problem with PLN Batubara
Two months before the end of his term of office, the CEO of PLN Batubara, Khairil Wahyuni, had not lost his optimism. While admitting he was resigned to ending his term at the company, a subsidiary of the state electricity company PLN, Khairil remained hopeful that he would get a new assignment.
In fact, recently his name has been mentioned as a candidate for director of PLN. "Merely rumors," he told Tempo sheepishly on Friday last week. In December, the term of office of all PLN directors will finish.
