Iman Sampoerna promptly rejected the four documents presented by AirAsia Indonesia representatives at the Hotel Santika in Surabaya two weeks ago. The documents, written in Indonesian and English, offered compensation of Rp300 million.
According to Iman, compensation could not be decided unilaterally. "The entire family should have been gathered. There could be confusion. And the bodies have not even been found yet," said Iman, father of one of the AirAsia Flight QZ8501 crash victims.
