Sugar Factories Planned For Eastern Indonesia
Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman says 21 potential investors intend to build 10 sugar factories in eastern Indonesia at a total value of Rp50 trillion. "So each (factory) will cost about Rp5 trillion," Amran said at the office of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) in Jakarta, where he was discussing agriculture investment with BKPM Chief Franky Sibarani.
