Budget Deficit Red Light
The government is concerned that revenues generated by the tax amnesty will fall short of its target. Efforts are being made to raise the deficit threshold.

SLUGGISH state revenues are threatening to push the budget deficit above the legal level.
Although a Tax Amnesty Law was recently passed, the threat does not appear to have been mitigated. This has compelled the government to begin preparing a government regulation in lieu of law (Perppu) to raise the deficit limit.
