AS one of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries' (OPEC) founders, Indonesia has had a rather complicated relationship with the organization. Last week, at the 171st OPEC session in Vienna, Austria, Indonesia once again suspended its membership in the oil cartel. Early in 2016, Indonesia rejoined as a full member after leaving OPEC under a suspended status in 2009.
