Just two weeks after being sworn in, US President Donald Trump has managed to heighten political tensions at home and abroad as well as raise uncertainties in global markets as he starts realizing his campaign promises.

First, it was to build a wall along the US southern border with Mexico and to fund it by imposing a 20 percent tariff on Mexican-produced goods entering the US. Mexican President, Enrique Pena Nieto, promptly canceled a planned US
