Bank Indonesia is accelerating the implementation of the National Payment Gateway. The electronic money's top-up fee is met with rejection.

Over the past two weeks, Aribowo, executive director of Bank Indonesia's National Payment System Program, has had to visit several places with the same aim: explaining the electronic money's top-up fee, to be borne by consumers.

Last Wednesday Aribowo offered his explanation to members of the Indonesian Ombudsman. Prior, he had already visited a number of media offices, the Indonesian Consumers Foundation, and the National Consumer Protection Agency
