The government and the central bank are going to change the bank guarantee program. Several banking transactions will no longer be covered. Account-holders' funds under the guarantee program will also be limited.

BANK managers now have to be very careful as regards making transactions. Big-fish customers have to think about owning banks. Up to now, customers have been able to choose whichever bank they want. This is because there is no chance of them losing their funds as there is a government guarantee that covers them if a bank goes bankrupt. But they will soon have to think again before depositing their money.
