The formalin produced by Agrinusa Jaya Santosa (AJS) is suspected to go to the food industry. The product, used to disinfect animal pens and coops by the farming industry, is used to preserve food. There are indications that illegal buyers got hold of the formalin by stealing licensed buyers’ accounts, paying in cash, and forging signatures. There are also leads that the formalin is sold to unlicensed agents and retailers. Both AJS and
