THIS WEEK will see a lot of people trying to guess the answer to one question: who will be the new owner of Bank Central Asia (BCA)? On Monday this week, all the bidders put in their final bids. So it’s now up to the government to determine the winner of the tender and thus BCA’s new owner. After a very long time, Indonesia’s number one “private” bank—founded by Liem Sioe Liong—will change hands.
