Garuda Indonesia has launched a cheap service bringing the Fokker-28 fleet out of retirement. Tickets cost much less than Garuda's—or any other airlines'—standard prices.

Just because you're retired it doesn't mean that you've become useless. The fleet of Fokker-28 planes, although retired last April, turn out to be very helpful for those needing air transport but have barely enough money. On certain routes, since last week, people can fly Garuda at an extremely low price, far below prices offered by other airlines.
