Domestic Credit Cards Must Be Able to Compete
Bank Indonesia will issue a domestic credit card. The bank promises a sovereign payment system. Indonesian Credit Card Association General Manager, Steve Marta, talks about it.

BANK Indonesia is issuing an Indonesian credit card as part of the effort to achieve sovereignty in the country’s payment system. In May, Bank Indonesia will allow the use of this local credit card for government transactions. In 2024, this domestic credit card will apply for general transactions.
