ARIEF Setiawan Handoko has a tough job ahead of him. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the state gas company, Perusahaan Gas Negara or PGN, has to find a large supply of liquid natural gas (LNG) for a low price to be sold to the Singaporean company, Gunvor Pte Ltd. To this day, PGN has not obtained the LNG scheduled for shipment in March 2024. If PGN fails, the company will receive a penalty. “We’re still looking for a supply,
