Special Body to Run SOEs
A special body will soon be established with the task of managing state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and with it sees the retreat of Cacuk Sudarijanto, head of the powerful Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA), from the race to acquire authority over the state-owned corporations.

A few weeks ago, newly appointed Coordinating Minister for the Economy Rizal Ramli asserted that all SOEs would be placed under his authority and that a body especially formulated for the task would oversee their management.
