IT was a letter that really infuriated Baihaki Hakim, the Managing Director of Pertamina, Indonesia's national oil company. Despite being known for keeping a low profile, he seemed not to care that the letter was from none other than Mark Baird, World Bank Country Director in Indonesia, who has now been recalled to Washington, United States.
