Another Round of Confusion at KPC

Thirty-one percent of the shares in Kaltim Prima Coal have fallen into the hands of PT Melati Intan Bhakti Setya. The transaction, however, is considered somewhat improper and has aroused suspicions.

SEVERAL senior officials at Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) were astonished to read the news that 31 percent of the shares in KPC had been sold to PT Melati Intan Bhakti Setya.
