Another round of high-level personnel changes in IBRA has raised eyebrows among the agency's staff. But the agency's top official says reform is much needed.

The employees of the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) have been stunned by recent senior personnel changes over the past two weeks. "This is getting worse," observed one employee. Workers have been questioning the changes in important positions within IBRA announced by the agency's head, Syafruddin Temenggung. Many consider the men who have been promoted as being unfit for the posts, while another official was demoted.
