WHAT is currently happening to cocoa processing companies is somewhat akin to the proverb about the mouse that died inside a rice barn. Four of the 15 cocoa processing companies are having to close down their factories because raw materials are just not available in the market. And even if they were, the prices would be higher than prices on the international market.
