THE wings of PT Dirgantara Indonesia have been all but clipped and it is now the first-ever aircraft manufacturing company in Southeast Asia to crash. Since Saturday two weeks ago, the management of the company—which was created by Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, formerly Indonesia's third president—was forced to send home its almost 10,000 employees.
