On the Cheap?
The Tangguh field has won an LNG tender in South Korea. But the price is not that much different to that of gas sold to Fujian, China.

PURNOMO Yusgiantoro, the Minister of Mines & Energy, was full of smiles. Every time the conversation turned to the matter of gas, his face lit up. What's going on? It seems that all the hard work of his team, together with that of the Oil & Gas Upstream Activities Management Board (BP Migas), in marketing the Tangguh gas field in Papua has finally paid off. "The agreement will be signed very soon," he said last week.
