THE multipurpose building of Jakartas State General High School (SMUN) 68 was stuffy. Four air-conditioners and two fans seemed inadequate to freshen the air in the room measuring 10 meters by 20 meters. The clamor to express grievances added to the rooms stale atmosphere.
