Dreams and... Reality
Working in the mining sector or information technology, or becoming an accountant or a lawyer is the ideal of many new scholars. No wonder then that institutions of higher learning that produce scholars in these fields are sought after by high school graduates. Not every glittering department or shining faculty, though, is hunted for. Only renowned universities are in demand. This is the outcome of a survey conducted by the Tempo Center for Data & Analysis.
Yet this does not mean that the famous ones will remain best sellers. It is quite possible that there will be shifts. The information on market trends should be paid attention to by high school graduates in making their choice for colleges, especially by those who will attend the enrollment tests for new students, early this coming July.
