THIS is an everyday sight under the Cakung-Cilincing bridge, East Jakarta. Garbage trucks form a line of up to 400 meters in length. They queue for up to 20 hours, just to move the garbage they carry to a larger truck. Daryanto, one of the truck drivers, has to sleep in his truck. He arrives there around 6pm. The weighing and transfer of the garbage in his truck would be completed only after noon the next day.
