Bogor has bored thousands of water-absorbing holes. They are more effective than absorption wells.

AT a glance it looked like a massive golf course-making project. The Bogor municipality had been rapidly boring over 22,000 holes with a diameter of 10-20 centimeters each, last month. All the 68 villages were involved, each obtaining a manual boring tool to meet the June 3 deadline, the date of Bogor’s anniversary.
