The Feminine Side of Edhi
A number of Edhi Sunarso’s personal works, previously stored away, were exhibited. In contrast to his masculine public monuments, these pieces tend more towards the feminine.

HER hair seems to form a veil over her face. The left side is combed back, showing her very long neck and not covering her small and lovely breast. Meanwhile her two hands come together beneath her stomach near her genitals. At a glance, with this appearance, the sculpture titled Gadis looks like Mariam or Mary.
Gadis, which is made from resin and only depicts the young woman to her thighs, was part of an exhibition of the work of Edhi Sunarso
