Some of Langa’s residents live in poverty, not so different from the days of apartheid. A ‘poverty tour’ is offered to tourists.

SAM Ntiba, our tour guide, took us-three tourists from Southeast Asia and two from the Netherlands-to Langa, a small town on the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa. The town was built in 1927 and became one of the popular destinations for black migration during the era of the British Commonwealth, the United South Africa.
