TO the Sangihe-Talaud people of southern Philippines, Heinrich Wolff is a familiar figure. His name may sound Germansomething he inherited from his forefathersbut he looks 100 percent local Filipino. Wolff was born in Tahuna, on the island of Sangihe. After graduating from the East Indonesia Institute of Theology in Makassar 14 years ago, Wolff worked in Mindanao. He is now the coordinator-mediator for Indonesian citizens in southern Mindanao.
