Removed to Leiden

Items from the Badung and Klungkung wars are kept in Leiden. They include weapons, jewels and even doors.

THE Puputan (all-out) war was a tragedy that caused total destruction and the plundering of Balis royal treasures by Dutch troops. Most of the captured treasures were transported to the Ethnography Museum in Leiden by the H.M. Koningin Wilhelmina ship from Bali.
