THE EWIN zoological team is not the only one to have made an accomplishment on Waigeo in the islands of Raja Ampat. The botanical team, too, succeeded in obtaining bags of peculiar and unique flora and fauna.

Over 500 plants comprising 50 families of plant life have been collected, among which are 164 collections of ferns, 195 types of mushroom, 19 kinds of moss and 11 kinds of gall.
